Mat is from east central Illinois and now calls Kokomo home. He's served as the senior minister at Chapel Hill Christian Church since June 2026. Mat studied Philosophy at Purdue University Northwest, graduating in 2015, before earning his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2018. He spent a year working in prison ministry before stepping into preaching full-time in early 2019. He is passionate about bringing God's word to God's people.
